SPATIAL VARIATION IN THE GROWTH OF THE POPULATION OF THE GOVERNORATES OF IRAQ FOR THE PERIOD 2010-2020 AND ITS EXPECTATIONS FOR THE YEAR 2030 AD

The research findings revealed that the province of Anbar boasts largest area in Iraq, accounting for a significant proportion country's total at 31.7%, whereas Baghdad has smallest area, representing only 1.0% area. As population distribution, Governorate highest percentage inhabitants 21.2%, while Al-Muthanna lowest percentage, with figure 2.2%. Notably, Iraqi exhibited growth rate 2.1% during period 2010-2020 AD, urban areas recording higher 2.3%, as opposed to rural experienced 1.8%. further projected Iraq would reach approximately 49,675,379 by year 2030, an 35,214,703 and 14,460,676.
